Cranium the Game
Met Ruth on Tuesday. I had the banoffee pie again! Last time I had half a serving. It just wasn't enough. We went to visit our friend's new baby. He was adorable.
Made pasta for shared dinner on Saturday. I wanted to make oven baked pasta in a rich sauce suitable for a winter's night. Mom suggested chicken, short pasta and a sauce out of a jar (I don't cook much at all) The photo above by ex.libris is what it would have looked like before being topped with cheese.
Cranium contains 600 cards with instructions for 15 kinds of activities. The four of us had to act, draw (sometimes with eyes closed) and mostly get stuck.
The game designer was really into purple!
Dinner at Cullens
Saturday dinner at Cullens Hood Street was delicious! I had Panko crust fish fillet with chips, capes, gherkin and Spanish onion mayonnaise.
For dessert the four of us shared white chocolate & blueberry brulee with gingernut praline (Picture above by chotda has some rights reserved).
... and chocolate brownie with triple chocolate ice cream, chocolate ganach and strawberry mint soup. (Picture above by diongillard has some rights reserved).

Friday night out with the girls
Had dinner with friends at the end of a long week. I had salmon and some kind of pasta. Nearly fell asleep at the table. Dessert at Metropolis was the highlight. Two of us had the "Hot chocolate pudding with vanilla ice-cream and Kahlua sauce." I shared chocolate cake and banoffee pie. The outing was a much needed winddown.
This banoffee pie looks very similar to the one I shared. Chocolate overindulgence anyone? (some rights reserved by jaypod)
Uni work has taken over most of life. The ups and downs are getting to me. Probably the effects of winter blues. Got good news at noon on Friday. My project management module results were outstanding. This weekend I got into hibernate mode. zZZzz (picture taken by Chris Gin below has some rights reserved).
