(Almost) Summer in All Its Glory
Flower in hot pink awesomeness!
This is the same flower under thick cloud a few second later due to the fickle weather.
I thought summer passed New Zealand by and we were straight into autumn in November. Now what?

The rain tonight drummed out a quiet rhythm. I fell asleep earlier during the evening news. Now the silent sky stays with me while I blog, wide awake, near 2 AM.
Spring has come to my backyard. Below is the plum tree blossoming.
Numerous flowers promise fruits!
It got pretty warm a few weeks back. Tulip seasons arrived with the blooms opening when there is sun and closing at night for protection.
Tulips lean towards light so they can get more energy during the day! I think it's positive phototaxis...

I get a sneaking suspicion that I have posted this before. Simone Preuss wrote about 10 Beautiful Cactus Flowers in Environment Graffiti.
Galadarling's Carousal turned up Twitter Zodiac Signs! I didn't get into the Twitter spirit when I joined though. She also introduced Isobel Oval in terms of polyvore by weekdays.

Survival of the fittest plays out in this crowded pot. Mom has juxtaposed these two for a refreshing colour combination.
